Why is it suddenly so fashionable to be Eco-friendly now? Even my dad has started recycling just to keep up with the Jones’. If you want to be Eco-friendly that’s fine but what is it with all these ‘celebrities’ and models walking around with these ugly as sin “I’m not a plastic bag” bags or “I’m a GREEN T-shirt” t-shirts. How is it that this little bag by Anya Hindmarch is selling by the millions?
I’m all for saving the environment, I just rarely do it. Me personally I would much prefere one of these…
Some designers have gone further though making entire ensembles out of recycled stuff. Take ex-Levis designer Gary Harvey who has created this technicolour-ed dress for Denise Van Outen. OK its made out of 100% recycled material and is therefore 100% nice to Mother-Nature… But put another way she’s also wearing 100% of other peoples old used crap…
Even Mother-Nature has fashion sense enough to know this is a disaster…
