Ok slightly off topic but none the less, something I wanted to share with you all. I’d never really “got” chickens as pets before, that is until I went to a family BBQ and was confronted by an entire coop full of them in the back garden.
Not only were they extremely friendly and actually quite pretty, they lay around 20 eggs a day which meant we got to take a carton home with us. They stay fresh for about 6 weeks and they were delicious! You’ve never had poached eggs until you’ve had them from happy, genuinely free-range chickens!
